First Impressions Teams Descriptions

INFO TEAM:  Help guests connect with Grow Group classes, guide them around our campus, especially if they have children in the other areas, make guests feel welcome and answer any questions they have about our church & campus.  Also, be a guide for guests that fill out the Plan Your Visit form online, so commitment for this particular person is on an as-needed basis.  Jennifer & Kristy coordinate the initial contact for Plan Your Visit and then connect guests with an Info Team guide.

Times Needed on Sundays are: 9:00am - 9:15am &/or 10:15am - 10:30am.

GUEST CONNECTIONS:  Greet (usually first-time) guests after the Worship Service, have them fill out a Guest card, give them a Manley “Welcome” bag, and be an initial contact for them to answer any questions about our church and encourage them to find a Grow Group. 

Times needed on Sundays:  Immediately after the Worship Service

BAPTISM TEAM

Meet baptism guests in Atrium and escort upstairs to Dressing/Changing rooms.  Take towels into baptism area and then take all wet towels to dressing/changing rooms.  

Times needed on Sundays: 10:10am – 10:40am

COFFEE CONNECTION TEAM

Make coffee, greet and chat with people as they get a cup of coffee.  We also serve tea, cappuccinos, & hot chocolate.  We do collect $1 for cappuccinos & hot chocolate to give to Missions.  Clean up starts at 10:20, we record any monies made, wash coffee pots, and store them till next use.

Times needed on Sundays: 8:30am to 10:30am

PARKING LOT TEAM

Greet visitors & members coming into the parking lot, assist the handicap, give directions as needed, and assist the golf cart team.  Need to be aware of security concerns and relay info to security team. 

Times needed on Sundays: 8:50am to 9:15am &/or 10:00am to 10:30am

GREETERS TEAM

Greet and welcome people coming into our church entrances. Occasionally help greet and welcome guests at special events. Commitment is once a month.

Times needed on Sundays: 8:50am to 9:15am &/or 10:00am to 10:30am

USHERS TEAM

Greet folks coming into the sanctuary,  help locate a seat or where family is sitting, assist with the dollar club money, hand out any information such as flyers, flowers on mother's day, candles on Christmas eve etc. We also assist in the Atrium once the service starts as needed. We do the attendance headcount, collect offerings, etc.
